It’s August and along with those Winter winds whistling through the city, it’s the time of year when a little bit of country comes to Brisbane city. It’s Ekka time! Fairy floss, show bags, cattle parades, show jumping, home made cakes, dog shows and fashion shows – all the colours, smells, tastes and temptations that we love about this time of year.
